Regent examination is a standardized statewide examination administered and developed by the New York State EducationDepartment (NYSED). The elementary and intermediate grade standardized tests are also referred as Regents Examinations by NYSED. Regent examinations were created to measure a students’ achievement through the process of examination. It would also help create a privileged class of students in secondary schools. The new class would be considered as academic class and students who are qualified for admission would be considered as academic scholars. Few of the New York Regents prep are:

§  Reusing the old tests: If you have taken any regents tests before, you can prepare well to answer those previous questions. However, if you haven’t taken up the test before, you can find the old test papers free on Regents Exam Prep Center or NYSED websites. Getting extra help from teachers.
§  Using your reasoning skills.
§  Being kind to the exam evaluator.
§  Being confident
§  Reading the test instructions and questions carefully.
